Rowupdating event vb
A Grid View Update Event Args object is passed to the event-handling method, which enables you to determine the index of the current row and to indicate that the update operation should be canceled. To cancel the update operation, set the collections, if necessary, before the values are passed to the data source.-Frinny Hi all, I seem to be having the same issue but I don't quite follow the trouble with the above post. Hi all, I seem to be having the same issue but I don't quite follow the trouble with the above post. Can you explain the T/S a little more or maybe point me to another post that may have already covered it? It's quite common that people create the data source and bind this source to the Grid View in their Page_Load() method. What happens with this is that the source is being created every time the user submits the page.A common way to use these collections is to HTML-encode the values supplied by the user before they are stored in the data source.
I found that simple data binding of my Drop Down List in my Grid View to my Sql Data Source was not going to be enough.
You have to make sure that you aren't setting your Grid View's data when it is not postback.
If you do this, your Grid View's source will be refreshed before you're able to grab the new values out of it.
Hi All, I am Vasudev, Presently I am stuck with an issue with Gridview. I have few Databound fields namely [Name, Age, Gender] 2. Sub Load Results() Try ' UAT 3 sogy CHECKING l OGIN EXPIRY PUT SESSION VALUE TO A HIIDEN VARIABLE ' Dim ds As New Data Set str_Query = " SELECT DISTINCT HQQP.
I have made the Databound fields as Read Only as they should not be Editable. I have few Template fields, After clicking Edit User is supposed to Enter the values for Correct and Incorrect Answers Manually. Depending on The Entries Entered in the Columns remaining columns [Correct and Incorrect] The values [ Un Attended, Result should be calculated automatically] 5.
