Dbgrid row cannot be located for updating

Of course, switching to server side cursors is one, although not necessary the only one. If a cast in integer the result of the sum, I don't get theerror.

What I really want to do is to force my dataset to only use "Key fields"when they internally buid the update query. But the property available to do this (Update Criteria) isnot working... Post by Christian Dubois I am using a client-side cursors and I cannot use a server sidecursor.

Estim Prod instead of the view, because theview has a calculated value and when record with ID 4 is changed then thevalue of Planifie in Record ID 5 changes too (that's what i believe).

Christian/***************************************/are you using client-side cursors? If it is so and you try to update, the default way for ADO to figureout which is the record to be updated in the database end is to matchthe before edit field values with the field values in the database.

Ifsomehow these got altered between the moment you first loaded them intothe dataset and the momento you update them in the database, ADO willget confused./***************************************/see my reply to the post of Dan R made on the 21st April regarding "MSAccess boolean fields"--Best regards :)Guillem Vicens Meier Dep. clubgreenoasis.com--Contribute to the Indy Docs project: order to contact me remove the -nospam Post by Christian Dubois I am using a client-side cursors and I cannot use a server sidecursor.
