In addition to joining the tracks on each CD, you want to merge the CDs.
If it's a small book of only a few CDs, then you might want to merge all CDs into one CD.
Yeah, it’s pulp, shlocky fiction, but it’s entertaining and when I’m working out, it’s a good listen because you can miss bits and not worry about ruining the story.
🙂 Here’s how I joined the tracks when I brought the audiobook into i Tunes…
Specifically, let’s go back to the Info section, but this time you’ll want to be looking at the imported track that’s within the i Tunes library, not the CD data. Click on it and choose To turn this into a proper audiobook to i Tunes, choose “Audiobook” as the media kind, then set “Remember Position” to yes (I haven’t done that yet in this screen shot) and I always mark that it should be skipped when I’m in shuffle mode because, well, it’s jarring to have an audio book show up when you want to just groove on some tunes!

I am, however, grateful when multiples are (correctly) moved all at once. As I change each title, that CD is merged with the other CDs of the same title.(b) Don't be alarmed if i Tunes moves all or a subset of your books at once instead of one-at-a-time. : My book has 5 CDs (Superbook Disc 1, Superbook Disc 2, etc. You need to be careful about your meta data entries because i Tunes is very picky about matching and sorting.
